Delete your account and what happens to data

This page is for the T2Car app (FORTUNA SOFT CO., LTD). You can delete your account yourself in the app, with no support request needed. Deleting closes the account; it does not erase your data from our servers. Section 3 lists what we keep and why, and section 4 says for how long.

1. How to delete your account in the app

  1. Open T2Car and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Tap the round button with your initials in the top-right corner of the screen to open Account.
  3. Scroll down, tap Delete account and confirm.

The server then closes the account and the app signs you out. If the server does not confirm, the app shows an error and you can try again. Signing in again later with the same Google or Apple account reopens the same account.

2. What happens when you delete

  • The account is marked as closed.
  • You are signed out on every device: mobile and web sessions are all revoked.
  • If you signed in with Apple, the Apple authorisation is revoked.
  • Signing in again with the same Google or Apple account reopens the same account.
  • An account that was blocked for violations stays blocked.

Nothing is erased from the server at this step. Section 3 explains what is kept.

3. Data we keep and why

After you delete your account, the server still keeps:

  • The account record: email, name and the link to your Google or Apple sign-in.
  • Your saved items, jobs, reports and notes.
  • Price requests (RFQs) and VIN lookups.
  • Purchase and subscription records.
  • Violation and appeal records.

We keep them to prevent fraud and enforce blocks, for security, for purchase records and accounting, and to handle disputes. They are not used for advertising and are not sold; see the Privacy Policy.

4. How long data is kept

Some data is deleted automatically on a fixed schedule, whether or not the account is deleted:

  • Usage events: deleted after 90 days.
  • Installation records: deleted after 400 days without activity.
  • Daily access records with IP address: kept for 30 days.

The records in section 3 are not deleted when the account is closed, and no automatic deletion period applies to them at present.

5. Data on your phone

Uninstalling the app removes the data the app stores on your phone. Your garage (My car) is stored only on the device, so it is removed with the app and we hold no copy. Uninstalling does not close the account by itself: delete the account in the app first if you want it closed.

6. Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the App Store, not by T2Car. Closing your T2Car account does not cancel a store subscription and does not give a refund. To cancel, use Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions (Android) or iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions (App Store).

Send refund requests to the store that billed you: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google Play through its help page.

7. Questions

If you cannot open the app, have lost your old device or have questions about your data, write to [email protected].
