Lookup

Check the part number before you decide

A part number is a good starting point. To read the result in the right context, you still need the vehicle details and the actual part in your hand.

01. Keep your input exactly as found

Write down the full number from the label, box or part, including the characters at the end. Have the make, model line and configuration ready to check the result against.

  • The full number, with every letter and digit legible.
  • A photo of the label or part to check against later.
  • The make, model line and relevant configuration.

02. Read more than the part name

Look up the number in T2Car and review the information returned. When there's a link to a diagram, open the drawing to see where the part sits in the assembly.

Read the notes and vehicle information in the catalogue. A similar-looking picture or a similar name isn't enough to confirm fitment.

03. Confirm before you order

Check the result against the full number and the vehicle configuration. If you come across a superseding number, a variant or missing application details, talk to your supplier before you commit.

You can send the number and vehicle details to T2Car whenever you need help with a catalogue lookup.
